The mindfulness-based childbirth and parenting program (MBCP) supports couples in dealing with the changes and challenges that pregnancy and childbirth bring with them in the best way possible.

One also learns life-long skills for the rewarding and challenging task of being a parent.

Benefits of preparing for childbirth with mindfulness training: a randomized controlled trial with active comparison

The study, conducted by MBCP Faculty Member Larissa Duncan, PhD, shows that mindfulness training addresses fear and pain during childbirth, improves childbirth experiences and lessens depression symptoms both during pregnancy and the early postpartum period.
